Department Summary The Employee Development Consultant for Health, Safety, and Environmental Training is responsible for delivering instruction to Consumers Energy employees. The individual in this position will actively participate in the learning community to increase consistency in Consumers Energy training practices and increase the effectiveness of the learning function. The HSE Instructor will proactive manage internal resources and creatively plan and execute training events within Consumers Energy that reflect and balance the priorities and resources of the company. Position(s) will be filled as an Employee Development Advisor or as an Employee Development Consultant, dependent upon the candidate''s qualifications. Job Description/Responsibilities This position is responsible for presentation, analysis, and evaluation of Health, Safety and Environmental training. Must be able to interface with all levels of personnel and consult with plant/field organizations on training needs or operating concerns and model expected behaviors to employees. Must be willing to travel and train at various company locations with overnight stays. This position will be located at either Bay City or at the JH Campbell Training Center in West Olive, Michigan (West of Grand Rapids, MI). Must be comfortable in an environment where continuous innovation and improvement is the norm. A strong commitment to the goals of the team along with an energetic and upbeat attitude is essential. Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Communication, related area or equivalent experience. Excellent facilitation and classroom management skills with 2-4 years of experience in an instructor role. Extensive experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental fields including OSHA requirements and compliance, fire safety, Hazardous Materials, etc. Ability to understand and interpret relevant training data and create actionable strategies. Previous firefighting experience a plus. Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated application of instructional design concepts and application. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Web based management resources such as SharePoint and Learning Management Systems. Experience with SAP. Preferred Qualifications CPLP certification. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
