We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team.
As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall appearance of our facilities.
This is a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished - Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed - Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred - Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and industrial vacuums - Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
