We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our animal patients.

Duties:
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing medical care to animals - Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures - Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas for procedures - Clean and sanitize equipment, instruments, and exam rooms - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Monitor animal patients before, during, and after procedures - Perform basic laboratory tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis - Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic imaging procedures - Provide support to pet owners, including answering questions and providing education on pet care Skills:
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and animal care practices - Experience with equine care, pet grooming, or dog handling is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with veterinary staff - Compassionate nature and genuine concern for the well-being of animals Please note that all positions at our clinic are paid positions.
