We have IMMEDIATE full-time and part-time openings.
Duties:
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing - Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs and restrictions - Help with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques - Provide catheter care, if necessary - Document medical information accurately and maintain records
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred - Familiarity with medical documentation and procedures - Knowledge of caregiving techniques and practices - Experience working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is a plus Requirements:
- Must be compassionate, patient, and reliable - Excellent communication skills - Ability to follow instructions and work independently - Physical ability to lift and assist clients as needed - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
