When you join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator, you'll be part of a team of human resource supportive staff, benefit specialists, and administrative professionals who are committed to supporting our staff in their work of serving seniors, children and families at Wellspring.
In this position, you'll bring a associates degree in Business or Human Resources, or a certificate in Human Resources.
Relevant and previous working experience in human resources is preferred.
You will be comfortable and knowledgeable working with computers and computer applications including HRIS systems.
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will:
Promotes and exemplifies the HR Purpose.
Achieves positive and organizational desired outcomes for HR processes.
Creates and fosters relationships with all levels of the organization to provide positive outcomes for the organization.
Coordinates onboarding in areas such as the interface between recruiting system and HRIS, background check set up, reference checking, and candidate/hiring manager communication throughout this process.
Assures complete, accurate, and uniform employee personnel files are maintained.
Assures the information contained in employment files is available to ministry sites for State file audits.
May coordinate other onboarding areas including independent contractors, paid leave time, company transfers.
Coordinates organization driving check process.
Coordinates pre-employment physical and drug screen vendor relationships.
Provides assistance with HR related systems including HRIS and some timekeeping.
Retrieves data and creates reports from multiple systems as requested and as appropriate.
May assist with the unemployment process.
Provides assistance, guidance and back-up as appropriate to other HR team members.
Keeps the HR Director apprised of current situations and potential issues Provides appropriate input to HR Director as requested.
Works under the direction of the HR Director, as well as independently, to conduct HR audits and special projects to maintain and ensure the integrity of Human Resources.
