Duties/Responsibilities Consistently demonstrate company core values:

Strong leadership skills in a high volume product production facility.
Drive actions through creation of and support of metrics achieving profit targets annually.
Establish strategies for floor projects through continuous improvement.
Develop and drive actions that support P&L performance, V/TO achievements and business growth.
Support projects that are either customer or internally driven.
Serve as lead production representative on all supportive functions such as Engineering, Innovation, Quality and Safety to be the conduit for all manufacturing related issues processes and procedures as well as any rollouts for new initiatives as it relates to current procedures for improvements.
Manage and develop team leads and assistant team leads for each shift.
Partner with Human Resources to assess training needs, complete performance evaluations, and complete progressive discipline process.
Assign resources and participate as needed in Innovation Teams for product development and process improvements.
Work closely with scheduler and team leaders to oversee staffing and production scheduling requirements.
Accessible long hours which may include after traditional business hours (nights and weekends).
Education and
Experience:
BA degree in Engineering, Management, or equivalent military experience, highly desired.
4 years work experience in a manufacturing environment, in lieu of education.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Production leadership from each shift report to this position.
