Accounting Analyst

This position will also be an integral member of the accounting staff working directly with the Controller and have detailed daily accounting duties.
Responsibilities Utilize math skills to analyze key financial data Prepare financial reports and estimates for decision makers within the organization Forecast current economic and financial outlooks Work collaboratively with other departments within organization Maintain customer specific pricing records for customers in ERP system Maintain all customer account maintenance and new customer account set-up Investigate potential inventory costing and invoice pricing errors Reconcile checking account bank statements for multiple entities Extract data from CRM and ERP systems and build reports for multiple departments Assist Controller with processing of month end Assist Controller with various weekly reporting requirements and projects Crosstrain as backup for Cash Application, and Accounts Payable for multiple entities Perform other duties as assigned Skills Data presentation to other departments Ability to quickly learn industry terminology and utilize information in reports Comfortable preparing and delivering reports to decision makers Creation and execution of self-led projects Forecasting and trend development based on company metrics for overall business success Competencies Attention to detail Sense of urgency Analytical Time management Effective communication Teamwork Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer 8
hours a day Vision and hearing for use of phone and computer systems Required Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 2
years' experience within an audit or accounting team Advanced Excel experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites Preferred Experience SX Enterprise Distribution System use or similar CRM/ERP software experience Hours This is a full-time hourly position, Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.
Occasional overtime may be required based on projects and department workload.
