Basic Function The purpose of this job is to develop and implement market, sales, and supply strategies which increase the value created to meet the needs of the regional business. The Marketing Manager will work closely with Business, Marketing, Asset, Supply Chain, Commercial and Operations teams to develop and execute processes that support Engineered Composites growth. This includes short and long terms sales, marketing plans that meet the needs of the regional business. Roles & Responsibilities oLeads product line on pricing, costing, and regulatory needs in conjunction with the commercial team ensuring DOA and risk mitigation procedures are followed for Sheet Molding and Quantum Product lines. oLeads the development and execution of the product line strategy in conjuntion with Asset, Sales and business managers which includes pricing, positioning and promotion for global Engineered Composites business unit. oWorks with sales and marketing to clearly define and articulate customer requirements for the product line and application development teams. oLeads the risk management process for the respective product line. oWorks with the Asset Manager, Sales Leader and Business Manager in the preparation of near, medium & long-term forecasts and strageties for the product line. oManages product line pricing and profitability through the use of analytics and market knowledge with regional commercial team. oProvide support to the Global Marketing Manager, New Business Development and marketing teams to develop promotional material and tools including web site, trade shows, trade advertising and public relations for product line. oWork with marketing communications to develop and provide sales collaterals and tools. oLead the teams on the use of salesforce and other tools needed to manage our new business development pipeline and product portfolio. oCoordination with operations, ADTS, Asset and PAD on product line simplification oLead multifunctional teams in executing the product line strategy for both short and long term success Min. Qualifications PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Education:
o The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree, preferably in, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or an engineering related discipline or business degree with experience in the Chemical field Work
Experience:
o Typically 5 years of prior experience in combination of technical or industry related Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, or Product Development roles. Knowledge of composites or plastics is a plus. Skills:
Relevant industry know-how to manage successful business strategies. Strong knowledge of market segments, products, applications and customers. Understand the basics of the polyolefins business processes. Ability to jointly develop contract proposals and assess impact on product and customer profitability High degree of analytical skills with a proficiency in business analysis (i.e. product and business profitability, opportunity and value proposition analysis. Able to facilitate corrective action plans to close business gaps. Demonstrated proficiency with prioritization and decision making Demonstrated influencing, collaboration and facilitation
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
